Collegian commits suicide in Daund taluka; a few days ago he was beaten due to a love affair
Pune : NpNews24 Online – Pune Crime | A college student committed suicide by hanging himself at his residence in Daund taluka. The name of the student is Somnath Balu Vetal (17) Daund, Pune. The Vetal family lives at Dhumal Vasti of Roti village. Somnath’s mother had gone to Pune for work two days ago when he committed suicide. (Pune Crime)
Somnath’s mother contacted on his mobile phone. However, he did not respond. So she inquired with the neighbours saying he was not answering the phone call. Somnath’s mother returned home in the evening and then it was revealed that he had committed suicide by hanging himself. (Pune Crime)
The reason behind Somnath’s suicide is still unclear. Somnath did not write any suicide note. The villagers revealed to the police during interrogation that he was beaten up due to a love affair a few days ago. Somnath was studying in class 11 in a college in Varvand. In this case, the police have registered a case of sudden death. The police are investigating further.
