Bharatiyam 2023 | ‘Bharatiyam 2023 ‘- festival of Bharati Vidyapeeth College of Engineering Held

Pune : NpNews24 Online  – ‘Bharatiyam 2023’ – annual technical and cultural festival of Bharati Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University) College of Engineering, Pune was organized from 27th March to 1st April 2023. This is one of the largest fests in Pune , comprising various technical as well as cultural events where Dr. Sanjay Gandhi, Vice-President, Pune Management Association and founder, Aspire Knowledge & skills India was chief guest for the inaugural function.

 

The guests of Honor were Hrishikesh Dhande,Regional head, Academic interface program, TCS, Pune. Narendra Mohapatra, CEO, Indo-Euro Synchronization, India, Prof. Dr. Vidula Sohoni, Principal, Bharati Vidyapeeth (DU) College of Engineering, Prof. Dr. Sachin Chavan, Vice Principal (Administration), Prof. Dr. Sunita Jadhav Vice-Principal, (NIRF,NAC,NBA),Dr.Pramod Jadhav Incharge , Bharatiyam 2023, ,Dr.Sudhir kadam and Prof.Gajanan Bhole,Co-ordinators ,Bharatiyam 2023.

 

The function was inaugurated in the presence of Dr.K.D. Jadhav, Joint Secretary Bharati Vidyapeeth, G. Jaykumar, Registrar, Bharati Vidyapeeth.Dr. Sachin Chavan Welcomed the guests . The unveiling of ‘GENRE’ Magazine was done at the auspicious hands of Dr. Sanjay Gandhi.

 

The guest encouraged the General secretaries of the different departments by felicitating them. Dr. Pramod Jadhav gave the vote of thanks.

Dr. Vidula Sohoni in her address gave the information about the college, and this fest,The Bhartiyam is full of technical events like Regatta, Roborace, Spardha, Level Up, Virtual Matrix followed by the cultural events. She mentioned the awards won by students in different activities and she talked about various grants received by the college from the different funding agencies.

 

Dr. G. Jayakumar in his speech said that Life is nothing but a story, every page in our life is a learning and whatever we learn from our life gives us teachings and some learning that creates History. Engineers need to collect the knowledge and apply it for the benefit of society. He also emphasized to love the subject’s students learn.

 

Dr. K. D. Jadhav said that Honorable Dr. Patangrao Kadam started the Engineering college in the era of technology which was the right time to start a private college. He further said that the student activities, research in the various departments, patents obtained are all of a specific level. The college has maintained its status by undergoing different accreditation processes. He gave all the organizers and participants best wishes.

 

In the speech Dr. Sanjay Gandhi said that he is an alumni of the college and mentioned that Dr. Patangrao Kadam saheb was a great visionary. He also mentioned that Hinjewadi IT park was the idea of Dr. Patangrao Kadam saheb. He is giving training to the fresh Engineering graduates in network security. He said that today’s world is all about innovation, incubation and start ups. He said that even a small variation is also an innovation. He quoted Steve Jobs “Any two existing elements joined together is innovation”. Similarly, he said that KPIT company combined the three dots which were Pune, automotive and software which made miracles. Ratan Tata saw 4 people going on a Two-wheeler, then he got the idea of Nano. Similarly, Bhavish Aggarwal saw the scenario in the taxi industry and he came up with the idea of Ola Cabs. He also said that students should be keen observers, as observation gives birth to startup ideas. There are around 92 thousand start-ups that are already registered out of which 107 have become unicorns.
