Pune : NpNews24 Online – Sant Dnyaneshwar Maharaj Palkhi | This year, the Sant Dnyaneshwar Maharaj Palkhi will depart from Alandi to Pandharpur on June 11, informed Chief Trustee of Alandi temple Yogesh Desai. (Sant Dnyaneshwar Maharaj Palkhi)
On June 11 (Sunday), the palkhi will depart at 4.30 pm accompanied by many warkaris. The first stop will be at Darshanbari Mandap and the palkhi will halt in Pune on June 12 and June 13. On June 14, 15, it will halt at Saswad, Jejuri on 16th, Walhe on 17th, Lonand on June 18 after a bath in Nira river and June 19. On June 20, it will halt at Taradgaon, Phaltan on 21st, barad on 22nd, Natepute on 23rd, Malshiras on 24th, Velapur on 25th, Bhandi Shegaon on 26th, Wakhri on 27th and on June 28, the palkhi will reach Pandharpur. The Ashadhi Ekadashi festival will be celebrated on June 29. An ‘ubhe ringan’ programme will be held at Chandobacha Limb, Bajirao Well and near padukas and the ‘gol ringan’ programme will be held at Purandvade, Khadus Phata, Thakurbuvachi Samadhi and Bajirao well.
The palkhi will remain in Pandharpur till July 3. After the birthday celebrations of Lord Krishna, the return journey to Alandi will begin. On its return journey, the palkhi will be at Vakhri on July 3, Velapur on 4th, Natepute on 5th, Phaltan on 6th, Padegaon on 7th, Walhe on 8th, Saswad on 9th, Hadapsar on 10th, Pune on 11th, Alandi on 12th and a circumambulation of Alandi town will be held on July 13 and the padukas will be kept at their place at the samadhi temple, informed Manager Dnyaneshwar Veer.
