Kondhwa police arrest man for killing his paramour and her two children
Pune : NpNews24 Online – Pune Crime News | The Kondhwa police have arrested a man for killing his paramour and her two children. He was in the process of destroying the evidence after burning the three bodies and was going to run away to his village when he was arrested by a team of Kondhwa police. (Pune Crime News)
The accused has been identified as Vaibhav Rupsen Waghmare (26), a resident of Latur district. He had killed his paramour Amrapali Ramesh Waghmare (24), Aditya (4) and Roshni (6). On April 5, a team of Kondhwa police including PSI Swapnil Patil and other policemen were patrolling in the Kausarbaug area.
PSI Patil got information that three bodies were burning in a tin shed near Mahatma Jyotiba Phule School behind Dharmawat petrol pump. PSI Swapnil Patil, police constable Satish Chavan, Nilesh Desari, police naik Gorakhnath Chikne, Jotiba pawar, Sujit Madan, Santosh Bansude, policemen Laxman Holkar, Sagar Bhosale and Suraj Shukla immediately reached the place.
They found burnt bodies of a woman and two children in a tin shed. The police found the woman’s identity card and she was identified. From the school books, it was known that the children’s names were Aditya and Roshni. The mobile number of Vaibhav Rupsen Waghmare was found on the notebook of the children. When the police questioned locals, they came to know that Vaibhav was staying with Amrapali.
When the police carried out a technical investigation, they found that Vaibhav was at Handewadi Chowk. He was trying to run away from Handewadi chowk with his luggage when he was arrested by the police. When he was grilled, he admitted killing Amrapali as he suspected her of having affairs with other men and also killed her children and burnt her bodies. The Kondhwa police have registered an FIR of triple murder against the accused.
DCP Vikrant Deshmukh, ACP Pornima Taware, Sr PI of Kondhwa police station Santosh Sonwane, PI (crime) Sanjay Mogale, PI (crime) Sandeep Bhosale guided a team of officials including PSI Swapnil Patil, police constable Satish Chavan, Nilesh Desai, police naik Gorakhnath Chikne, Jotiba Pawar, Sujit Madan, policeman Santosh Bansode, Laxman Holkar, Sagar Bhosale and Suraj Shukla in arresting the accused.
