Pune: Awareness and Capacity Building Programme entitled Rise and Lead held at Abeda Inamdar College in Azam Campus

Pune: Abeda Inamdar Senior College of Arts, Commerce and Science College, Camp ( autonomous ) in association with National Commission for Women (NCW) had organised ‘ Awareness and Capacity Building Programme ’ entitled ‘ Rise and Lead : Young Women Pioneering Technology, Business and Public Life ’ at the assembly hall at Azam Campus where the welcome address was delivered by NCW officials.

Resource Person Dipali Gunjan Patil Senior Project Manager- Cognizant Technology Solution, Pune delivered a session on “Tech Horizons: Navigating Emerging Opportunities in AI, Drone Technology” while World’s first Image Scientist and CEO- Krea, Pune, Dr. Kuiljeit Uppaal took a session “Women in Decision Making: Women Leading in Public Life” where she motivate the college students to chisel out the best personalities out of themselves through image building, personality development, developing interpersonal skills and working toward all rounded development of their personality. Explaining about her family background and how she was afflicted with polio Uppal pointed out the challenges she had to face and overcome over the years.

“There is nothing wrong with me and I can do anything. With the same spirit each one of us can scale all heights of success without being negative about anything in life. There is an opportunity in each moment and what is required is seize the moment to make it big in life ,” she said. Another important session entitled “Women in Corporate Arena” was taken by Sherrin (Sherine Poonawala) Mehata M.D. at Acetertainers, Founder of Angle Messenger, Pune, who spoke on the power of healing and harnessing energies of nature for human development and excelling in individual and collective potential. Psychologist, Career Expert and life coach ,Founder of Talentsphere, Pune motivated the students in the importance of gaining life skills and personality development. College Principal Dr Shahla Bootwala said that the programme aimed at capacity development of the students through conducting sessions on motivation, life skills, psychology and personality development. “ We have very talented students in our college and our aim is to shape their personality to enable them to become successful citizens in different fields of human endeavour in the future.”
