ACB Trap News | Flutter in education field: Head Master arrested for accepting bribe by cheque; Education institute’s President, clerk and head master on ACB radar
NASHIK : ACB Trap News | There is shocking news from the field of education. The ACB Nashik has arrested a head master red-handed for demanding a bribe of ₹75,000 and accepting it by cheque to cancel the transfer orders. An FIR has been registered against the president of the education society, clerk and the headmaster. The incident has created a flutter in the field of education.
Vinod Shankar Jadhav (42), Head Master, Mahatma Phule High School, Erandol, Jalgaon district and a resident of Pachora in Jalgaon district, has been arrested. Along with him, Narendra Uttam Wagh (44), junior clerk, Mahatma Phule High School, Jalgaon district and a resident of Pachora, Jalgaon district and Vijay Pandharinath Mahajan (56), President of Shree Savta Mali Shikshan Prasarak Mandal, Jalgaon which operates Mahatma Phule High School, Jalgaon district and a resident of Erandol, Jalgaon district.
The complainant is an assistant teacher at Mahatma Phule High School, Erandol which is managed by Shree Savta Mali Shikshan Prasarak Mandal, Jalgaon. The organisation had sent a letter of transfer of assistant teacher and his colleague on April 1, 2023 to Mahatma Phule High School, Dharangaon on May 2, 2023 to the Education Officer, Secondary Education Department, Zilla Parishad, Jalgaon for his approval.
The accused number 1 and 2 sought a bribe from the complainant and his colleague and a cheque of ₹75,000 for the accused number 3 to issue a letter cancelling the proposed transfer of the complainant and his colleague. The accused number three informed the complainant from the mobile of accused number 2 that he should fulfil the demands of accused number 1 and 2. The accused number 1 was caught red-handed while accepting a cheque of ₹75,000 issued in favour of the head master at Mahatma Phule High School at Erandol. An FIR has been registered at the Erandol police station.
The action was taken under the guidance of Nashik Range SP Sharmistha Gharge-Walawalkar, Addl SP Madhav Reddy and DySP Narendra Pawar by DySP Shashikant Patil, PI NN Jadhav, PI SK Bachhav, policemen Sunil Patil, Ravindra Ghuge, Ishwar Dhangar, Sachin Chate, API Dineshsingh Patil, Suresh Patil, policewoman Shaila Dhangar, police naik Kishor Mahajan, Sunil Wankhede, Balu Marathe, policeman Pradip Pol, Rakesh Dusane, Amol Suryawanshi and Pranesh Thakur.
