PUNE : Three Policemen Suspended In Pune | The ACB arrested a police havaldar of the Yerawada police station for accepting a bribe of ₹13,000 after demanding ₹20,000 to register a complaint of a car accident and registered an FIR against three havaldars. DCP Shashikant Borate of zone 4 has immediately suspended the three havaldars for maligning the image of the police.

The accused have been identified as Police Havaldar Rajendra Ramakrishna Dixit, Police Havaldar Jairam Narayan Sawalkar and Police Havaldar Vinayak Ulga Mudholkar. A man who has a travel business wanted to lodge a complaint about one of his cars being involved in an accident. A demand for a bribe was made to the businessman. The ACB arrested the havaldar while he was accepting a bribe. An FIR has been registered against three police havaldars.

The havaldars have been immediately suspended by DCP Shashikant Borate for their irresponsible behaviour which has tarnished the image of the police.
