R M D Foundation | RMD Foundation’s contests unite the youth: Shobha R Dhariwal

Pune : NpNews24 Online  –  R M D Foundation | The youth from rural areas have a lot of energy. If it is harnessed properly, it will revolutionise their lives. Shobha R. Dhariwal, Vice President, RMD Foundation, expressed the confidence that the Ranjangaon Competition organised by the RMD Foundation would bind these youths together. She was speaking during the marathon run held at Ranjangaon Ganpati. This is the fifth year of the marathon and over 5,000 runners took part in this year’s competition.

 

RMD Foundation Vice President Shobha R Dhariwal, President Janhavi Dhariwal Balan, MLA Bachchu Kadu, Punit Balan Group and Indrani Balan Foundation’s Punit Balan, actor Shreyas Talpade flagged off the marathon at 6:30 am on Thursday.

 

Speaking on the occasion, MLA Bachchu Kadu appreciated the activities of RMD Foundation. Also, through this foundation, training and employment projects are being implemented for 2,000 women in Vidarbha at the Garment Hub. He thanked the foundation for this initiative. Actor Shreyas Talpade explained the importance of running to the contestants in his own style. Puneet Balan said, “If you participate in the competition every year, I will also participate.” Janhavi Dhariwal Balan assured that the foundation will always be there for the rural youth.

 

The winners of the marathon will be given various awards, cash prizes, certificates, medals. Besides, the school students and collegians who participated in a large number will be given a pure drinking water cooler machine and RO machine, announced by Janhavi Dhariwal Balan on this occasion.

 

Sagar Pachundkar, President, Ranjangaon Mahaganpati Foundation, and other office-bearers of the foundation organised the marathon.

 

Police Inspector Balwant Mangde, Yuva Sena Pune District President Sandeep Shinde, Manav Vikas Parishad Maharashtra State President Sandeep Kute, Rajesh Lande, Atish Raut, Srikant Pachundkar, Dattatray Pachundkar and a large number of villagers were present.
