Punit Balan Group takes initiative for Olympics sports training; Sign agreement with Maharashtra Hockey Federation

PUNE : NpNews24 Online  –  The ‘Punit Balan Group’ has taken yet another step to ensure that India bags more and more medals in the Olympic Games. The ‘Punit Balan Group’ has signed an agreement with Maharashtra Hockey Federation for five years for Olympic sports training. As a part of this project, players will be trained and motivated to put up a better performance.

 

The ‘Punit Balan Group’ always encourages various projects in the sports field. India has not been able to make its mark in the Olympic Games. Various organisations and federations are making efforts to ensure that India bags more and more medals in the Olympic Games. The ‘Punit Balan Group’ has decided to make its contribution to these efforts.

 

Maharashtra Hockey Federation conducts Olympic sports training programme. The ‘Punit Balan Group’ is going to provide financial support to this programme. An agreement was recently signed between Federation’s President and IPS officer Krishna Prakash and young businessman Punit Balan. As per the agreement, sportspersons will be trained, get motivational support and health facilities.

 

Meanwhile, the ‘Punit Balan Group’ organises various programmes to encourage sports like table tennis, kho-kho, badminton, handball, cricket. Punit Balan owns Ultimate Kho-Kho, Tennis League, Premier Badminton League, Handball League and Maharashtra Ironman Team.

 

Speaking about the agreement, President of ‘Punit Balan Group’ Punit Balan said, “India is now taking the lead in various sectors. To ensure that India takes the lead in sports and our sportsmen bag maximum number of medals, the sportsmen need training. Efforts are on to ensure that sportsmen from the state perform well in hockey which is our national sport. Hence, we have undertaken an initiative to train players through Maharashtra Hockey Federation. Let us hope that through this programme, maximum number of Indian sportsmen will bag medals in the Olympic Games.”
