Pune Water Supply News | Water Supply Disruption in Some Areas Due to Maintenance Work

Pune : Pune Water Supply News | Emergency maintenance work will be conducted at the Vadgaon Water Center and Rajiv Gandhi Pumping facilities, leading to the temporary closure of water supply in certain parts of the city on Thursday, the 13th of July.

 

Residents in the affected areas can expect the resumption of water supply late on Friday morning, albeit with lower pressure. The areas where water supply will be disrupted include Hingane, Anandnagar, Vadgaon, Dhairi, Ambegaonpathar, Dattanagar, Dhankawadi, Katraj, the Bharati University campus, Kondhwa Budruk, Ambegaon Khurd, Ambegaon Budruk, Yevlewadi, Sahakarnagar Part 2, Ambedkarnagar, Tilaknagar, and the Date Bus Stop area, among others.

 

Additionally, the water supply to certain areas served by the Rajiv Gandhi Pumping facility will also be affected. These areas include Sacchai Mata Tank, Santosh Nagar, Dattanagar, Ambegaon Budruk, Ambegaon Khurd, Sunda Matanagar, Wonder City, Morebagh, Srihari Tank, Balajinagar, Pawar Hospital Premises, Kedareshwar Tank, and parts one and two of Sukhsagar Nagar, among others.

 

However, it should be noted that there will be no water cut in the Old Ward 38, Yevlewadi, and other specified areas from Tuesday to Sunday, the 16th of July. Water supply will continue as usual in these areas.

 

The Water Supply Department has assured residents that normal water supply will be restored as planned from the following Monday onwards. In light of the inconvenience caused by the temporary disruption, residents are requested to make necessary arrangements and utilize water resources judiciously until the supply is fully restored.
