Pune-Solapur Highway Accident | Tragic Accident on Pune-Solapur Highway Claims a Life, Leaves Teen Severely Injured
Pune : Pune-Solapur Highway Accident | A terrible event occurred this morning on the Pune-Solapur highway when a high-speed fuel truck crashed with a two-wheeler rider, killing the mother and severely injuring her daughter. For a long time, the collision created substantial traffic interruptions along the Pune-Solapur route.
Yogita Rajkumar Gavane, 35, of Hole Complex, Uruli Kanchan, Pune-Solapur Road, has been identified as the dead.
Surekha Rajkumar Gavane, a sixteen-year-old teenager, received major wounds in the crash and is presently being treated at a nearby hospital, according to authorities.
Yogita Gavane and her daughter left for work at 8:00 a.m. on a two-wheeler on Wednesday morning. A speeding fuel tanker collided with the two-wheeler on the Pune-Solapur route near Kunjirwadi. Yogita and her daughter Surekha suffered serious injuries as a result of the crash. Immediate medical help was sought, however Yogita died as a result of her injuries before getting treatment.
The collision impeded traffic flow on the Pune-Solapur route, forcing police action to restore normalcy and permit passage towards Pune.
