Python In Kamshet | Eight-Foot Python Found Near Residential Area in Kamshet

Pune: Python In Kamshet | An unexpected discovery sent shockwaves through the residents of Kamshet as an eight-foot python was spotted near a house on Kujgaon Road. Prompt action was taken by members of the Maval Wildlife Protection Society, including Sonya Wadekar, Tejas Shinde, Karthik Gaikwad, who carefully captured the python. The news of the python’s presence was promptly reported to Nilesh Garade, the founder of the organization, and Anil Andre, the president.

Following the successful capture, a preliminary inspection of the snake was conducted by Pramod Oval, Daksh Katkar, Yash Bachche, Shumbham Andre, Omkar Kadu, Jigar Solanki. Under the supervision of Hanumant Jadhav, Forest Range Officer of Vadgaon Forest Division, the python was released back into its natural habitat. This responsible approach ensured the snake’s safety while preserving the delicate balance of the ecosystem.

With the onset of the rainy season, snake sightings tend to increase as these creatures search for shelter and food. Citizens are advised to exercise caution both at home and in their workplaces. If a snake is encountered, it is crucial to refrain from harming or killing it.
