Pune Rural Police | Pune Rural Police fine 340 drunk drivers; Issue appeal to citizens

PUNE : Pune Rural Police | The Pune Rural Police have taken strict action against people driving under influence of liquor and fined them. The Pune Rural Police took action against 340 drunk drivers. The Pune Rural Police had undertaken a special drive against people driving after consuming liquor.

Pune Rural Police SP Ankit Goyal had issued instructions to Addl SP Mitesh Ghatte of Baramati Division, Addl SP Anand Bhoite to take action against people creating ruckus at public places after drinking alcohol and driving vehicles.
Accordingly, a special drive was organised by Pune Rural Police from July 14 to 17. During the drive, 340 people were fined. Officials and policemen of Pune Rural Police took part in the drive.

The Pune Rural Police have appealed to the people not to create a ruckus at public and tourist places and avoid driving after consuming liquor. The police have started taking strict action against those driving vehicles under the influence of liquor.
