Pune: If IITians don’t get jobs, what would regular graduates do, asks Supriya Sule

Jejuri (Pune): The Maha Vikas Aghadi candidate Supriya Sule is campaigning hard in her constituency. She is combing every village and town to win the election. She is listening to the problems of local people. She is appealing to them to cast their votes.

Sule has focused on the unemployment issue. She is also commenting frequently on dynasty politics. At pilgrim centre Jejuri, she again raked up the unemployment plank.

Sule said, “What would regular graduates do when even IITians do not get jobs? One could understand this during the pandemic. But the issue of joblessness among the youth has not been addressed by the government. Students holding IIT and IIM degrees are also not getting jobs. Around 34 pc of such graduates are unemployed. This is really a concerning trend.”

The Lok Sabha election this time is different in many ways. Two major political parties, Shiv Sena and NCP, split ahead of the election. Leaders and workers have been divided into two groups. At many places, the two factions of these parties are in direct fight with each other. Each faction is claiming that they would emerge victorious. Leaders who were once colleagues are criticising each other. Supriya Sule is also criticising her erstwhile colleagues.
