Engineer killed, wife and son injured in accident near Kameri village near Islampur
Pune/Islampur : NpNews24 Online – Pune News | The car of a family which was going to Bengaluru to meet their relatives, was involved in an accident at Islampur. In the mishap, engineer Aniket Ramdas Murtarkar (39), a resident of Wakad died on the spot. His wife Dr Jyoti Murtarkar (34) and son Ishan Murtarkar (6) were seriously injured. The incident took place in the limits of Islampur police station on Vitthalwadi-Kameri road on Sunday at 3 pm. (Pune News)
Aniket Murtarkar was on his way to Bengaluru with his wife and son to meet their relatives. On the national highway, in Walva taluka, in the limits of Kameri village, Aniket lost control of the vehicle and it banged into a tree. Aniket received serious head injuries and he died on the spot. His wife and son were seriously injured.
According to the police, Aniket is an engineer in Pune and his wife is a doctor. Aniket was travelling by his car (MH 12 FY4624) to Bengaluru with his family. He lost control of the vehicle in the limits of Kameri village and the car banged into a tree. Since Aniket received serious head injuries, he died on the spot and his wife and son were injured. They are being treated in a private hospital in Islampur.
