Pune: Horrible Spate of Violence! Two Youths Attack Man Over Heated Parking Altercation

Pune: Due to a frivolous verbal altercation over the parking space of a car, a duo of a father and daughter was brutally assaulted by two youths with wooden sticks in Manjri Khurd Area. This incident took place in the early morning hours of January 23 at around 11:00 AM at Manjri Khurd.

In this regard, Rohidas Uddhav Kharabe, a 52-year-old resident of Lane No. 7, Manjri Budruk, filed a complaint against two people at Lonikand Police Station.

The accused are identified as Rohit Ashok Avhale and Karan Manaji Avhale, and both are residents of Awhalewadi, Pune. Police informed that the plaintiff runs a water treatment plant in front of his house in the Manjri Budruk area.

On January 23, when the plaintiff was working in the water plant, the accused came there on a bike and asked Kharabe to remove his parked car to the side of the road. When Kharabe informed them that the land where the car was parked was his private possession and he would not remove his car, the furious accused unleashed a heavy assault on him.

They held the accused’s throat against the wall and assaulted him on his knees with wooden sticks. In this assault, the plaintiff received several injuries. Meanwhile, when the plaintiff’s daughter came to rescue her, the accused pushed her away and abused her in obscene language.

Following the incident, police lodged a complaint against both the accused under IPC 325, 323, 504, 506, 352, and 34 and initiated further investigations into it. Police have insured that the investigation will soon be completed and that due action will be taken against the accused to serve justice.
