Pune: GIBF to hold India-Latin America & Caribbean Countries Business Conclave to accelerate Economies on Saturday, 2 March in the city

Pune: The Global India Business Forum (GIBF) will be organizing the India-Latin America and Caribbean Countries Business Conclave on March 2, 2024, from 9 am to 6 pm at Hotel Ramee Grand, Pune. The day-long event that will see the esteemed presence of ambassadors of 12 countries and the participation of business leaders across various sectors.

The purpose of this Conclave is to foster bilateral trade between India and other countries, thus enhancing the economies of all the participating countries, helping businesses grow to the next level, and to generate employment for the youth. Ambassadors and other diplomats from Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Costa Rica, Cuba, El Salvador, Guyana, Mexico, Peru, Trinidad, Uruguay and Venezuela will be shedding light on the plethora of investment opportunities in their respective countries and the government’s policies for foreign investors.

The dignitaries from these countries include – H.E. Roger Gopaul – High Commissioner of Trinidad and Tobago, Mr. Abel Aballe Despaigne – Charge d’ Affairs of Cuba, H.E. Juan Angulo – Ambassador of Chile, H.E. Alberto Guani – Ambassador of Uruguay, Ms. Sofia Salas – Charge d’ Affairs of Costa Rica, H.E. Guillermo Rubio Funes – Ambassador of El Salvador, Mr. Steven Ramirez – Economic Counsellor of El Salvador, Mr. Gopal Singh Rajput – Trade Officer of Brazil, H.E. Ms. Capaya Rodriguez Gonzalez – Ambassador of Venezuela, Ms. Rojyar Seyeddi – Minister Counsellor of Venezuela, Mr. Daniel Delgado – Head of Economic and Trade Promotion of Mexico, Mr. Kayshav Tewari – Second Secretary of Guyana, and Mr. Luis Miguel Cabello – Trade and Tourism Counsellor of Peru.

The event will be followed by a question and answer session and B2B meetings. Business leaders from education, manufacturing, agriculture, food, energy (oil and gas), renewable energy, infrastructure/construction, information and communication technology, pharmaceutical (medical products), travel and tourism, mining, and others will be participating in the event.

Prior to this, the GIBF successfully organized many business conclaves, including the biggest-ever India-Africa Business Conclave close on the heels of the African Union’s inclusion in the Group of 20 Countries (G20); the Indi-Asia Business Conclave, etc.
