Pune: GHRCE Student Lakshya and Tejas won first prize in Tech Alchemy Hackathon

Pune: The Department of AI of G H Raisoni College of Engineering and Management’s third-year students, Lakshya Makode and Tejas Mundhe achieved the top position in the Tech Alchathon competition in 2024. Tech Alchemy, UK based company organized a two-day hackathon on 9th and 10th March 2024. The hackathon witnessed the participation of over 120 attendees, including industry leaders, seasoned speakers, and aspiring technologists.

Tech Alchathon 2024 provided a platform for participants to tackle coding challenges, interact with industry experts, and explore networking opportunities. The event showcased the students’ talent, dedication, and proficiency in addressing real-world technological hurdles.

Lakshya Makode and Tejas Munde students of TY CSE (AI), worked on the Blockchain based problem statement “DeFi: Decentralized Finance” and demonstrated solution as “Aero exchange” using solidity language. Their innovative solution not only impressed the judges but also earned them a cash prize of Rs. 50,000. Professor Rachna Sable and Mrs. Pranita Mokal, served as mentors for the student project.

Dr. R. D. Kharadkar, Campus Director of GHRCEM, Pune, congratulated Lakshya and Tejas on their remarkable accomplishments. Their success underscores the college’s commitment to fostering innovation, excellence, and leadership among its students.
