Pune Crime News | Youth cheated of Rs 10 lakh on the pretext of investing in share market

Pune : Pune Crime News | A youth was cheated of over Rs 9.61 lakh on the promise of 10 per cent profit in 10 months on investment in the share market. A 32-year-old youth lodged a complaint at the Kondhwa police station. The police booked three persons, including an account holder in Yes Bank.
The incident took place from May 1, 2022 to July 31, 2022. According to the police, a person called up the complainant advising him to invest in the share market. He also promised 10 percent profit on investment in 10 months and 10 percent refund of the principal investment. Therefore, the complainant invested Rs 9,61,200.
However, he neither got the principal amount nor the profit even after 10 months. PI Sanjay Mogale is investigating the matter.
