Pune Crime News | Minor girl gangraped in Kondhwa; Police arrest youth

PUNE : Pune Crime News | A shocking incident has come to light wherein a minor girl studying in std 6-7 was gang raped by three youths. The incident came to light when the girl informed her teachers. The Kondhwa police have arrested a youth.

A 17-year-old girl has lodged a complaint (555/23) at the Kondhwa police station. The incident took place at Yevlewadi from 2018 to 2019. The Kondhwa police have arrested Munna Mehboob Nadaf (26), a resident of Yevlewadi and hailing from Solapur.

When the complainant was in std 6-7, she was playing in a lane adjacent to her house. Something fell out of a window of a house. The girl went to the house to give it back. The accused who were in the house, pulled her and locked the house. They switched on the music system to drown the girl’s cries. The three youths raped the girl turn by turn. They threatened her that they would harm her family if she informed anyone about the incident. Hence, she had not told anyone about it. The complainant told her teacher about the incident. PSI Shaikh is probing the case.
