FIR registered against two persons for trying to outrage girl’s modesty
Pune : NpNews24 Online – Pune Crime | An incident of a boy trying to hug a girl by telling her that she looks like the character of Srivalli of Telugu movie Pushpa: The Rise has been reported in Pune. The police have registered an FIR against two persons at the Sahakar Nagar police station for teasing a girl and outraging her modesty. The incident happened on Saturday at 9 pm near Lahuji Samaj temple in the Shankar Maharaj settlement in Dhankawadi. (Pune Crime)
A 20-year-old girl staying in Dhankawadi has filed a complaint at the Sahakar Nagar police station. The police have registered a case of outraging the modesty of a girl against Sohail and his aide Arbaz. The movie Pushpa is immensely popular among the common man and the leaders.
According to the police, the complainant and the accused stay in the same area. Sohail and Arbaz used to whistle while passing by her house. When the girl asked Sohail why he whistled , he told her that she looked like the heroine in Pushpa and he wanted to marry her and tried to hug her.
The girl’s brother came to her rescue but he was beaten up by Arbaz who threatened to kill him. The girl and her brother started shouting and the two accused ran away from the spot.
