NP NEWS 24 ONLINE- Using condoms are the most effective way of birth control till date. But, now it to compete it, a new gel is about to arrive in the market which will control birth.

The safety from various sexual diseases, unwanted pregnancy and easier usage techniques have made it set apart from any other birth-control methods but going to buy it in shops has become a pain for many men, but it’s a good news for them!

This new birth control gel can be only used by men and will soon be available in markets. The National Institute of Health(NIH) is working on developing this gel. The trial of its gel has to be successful or no other birth control can ever take condom’s market such is being said.

Condoms which were invented in year 1839 and patented in 1844, the first rubber condom has now taken over all other birth control methods in society. There are probabilities that this gel might take over the market of condoms.

The best part is, that just after applying this gel, couple won’t have to bother about unwanted pregnancy and safety. NIH is still on trial, testing the effectivity of the gel and any harmful effects to the health. This gel is made up of chemicals called Testosterone and Segesterone which prevents production of sperm.

According to NIH, applying of this gel will stop production of sperms it will be tested on a total of 420 couples from around the world. This gel will be tested by applying it to shoulders for 4-12 weeks and will check the after-effects of the gel on men’s body and during tis time, the sperm level in a man’s body will be measured.

Now, it will be eager to watch whether it becomes successful or not because if this trail goes unsuccessful, then no other easier birth control method will be found after condoms in the market.
