NMC commissioner removed from the post of?

 

Nagpur: The Nagpur Municipal Corporation (MNC) Chief Tukaram Munde has been removed from the post of the chief executive officer (CEO) of the Smart City.

Munde has been replaced by the deputy CEO, Mahesh Moroney as a smart city director. The decision was taken in a meeting of the board of directors held at Nagpur on Friday.

Munde was appointed as CEO of the Smart city over the phone by Pravin Pardesi, but there was a bitter struggle between NMC corporators and commissioner Munde.

After five months meeting was held to decide its new CEO, the meeting was also attended by the Praveen Pardeshi, Mayor Sandeep Joshi and ruling party leader Sandeep Jadhav.

Bombay HC notice to Munde:

The Nagpur bench of the Bombay HC has issued notice to civic chief and board of directors of smart city corporation NSSCDCL on a plea filed by seven former employees of the company against termination of service.
