Nandurbar police start anti-narcotics campaign; 1,000 students administered oath

NANDURBAR : NpNews24 Online  – Nandurbar Police | The Special Inspector General of Police of Nashik region, Dr BG Shekhar Patil, had said that a special drive against drugs should be implemented in each district of Nashik region. The SP of Nandurbar district, PR Patil, responded to his appeal in 24 hours and started an anti-narcotics campaign. On Wednesday (March 1), the initiative was inaugurated at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj auditorium by Nandurbar district police. Dr BG Shekhar Patil inaugurated the programme. (Nandurbar Police)

 

Speaking on the occasion, Dr BG Shekhar Patil said, “While working as a police officer, I was able to free many youths from the clutches of drug addiction. The young generation is the future of our country and they should take a vow that they will stay away from drugs to take care of their health and ensure a bright future.”

 

 

SP PR Patil said that if side effects of drugs are explained to teenagers, then it benefits everyone. He also administered the anti-narcotics campaign oath to the audience.

 

One thousand students, teachers and principal of Poddar International School, GTP College, Shroff High School, SA Mission High School, Bhamre Classes, Abhinav Vidyalay, PG Public School were present.

 

Addl SP Nilesh Tambe, Police Inspector Kiran Kumar Khedkar of Local Crime Branch, Police Inspector Rahul Pawar, Police Inspector of Nandurbar City police station Ravindra Kalamkar, API Dinesh Bhadane of Upanagar police station and officials and policemen of Nandurbar city police station were present.
