FIR registered against three persons for cheating woman

A 31-year-old woman has lodged a complaint at the Mundhwa police station (91/23). Accordingly, the police have registered an FIR against Mohammad Aban Ali, a resident of Mundhwa, Ismail and Nayana. The incident took place at Galaxy Apartment at Keshav Nagar from April 21 to August 15, 2022 and February 15, 2023 at 11.30 am.
According to the police, Mohammad Aban Ali won the trust of the complainant, and took ₹5 lakh from him as a booking amount for two flats in Galaxy Apartment and prepared an agreement. He gave the ownership of the flat to the complainant. However, the complainant refused to sign the agreement to buy the flat. He was told to vacate the flat and threatened him. The electricity meter was cut and he was mentally tortured and harassed.
The electricity meter was removed when the complainant’s sister-in-law was in the parking area. She recorded a video on her mobile. Mohammad Ali charged at her and snatched her mobile. He abused her and molested her. Ismail and Nayana also threatened her and an FIR has been registered. PSI Shivaji Kate is investigating the case.
