MLA Bhaskar Jadhav resigns, likely to join Shiv Sena today

Np News 24 Mumbai: MLA Bhaskar Jadhav, who was leading the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) in Konkan, is joining the Shiv Sena on Friday. He has officially resigned from the post of MLA.  As a rule, the leaders have to first go the Legislative Assembly and resign their Assembly membership.
Before joining the Shiv Sena, he had to resign as the MLA.  Hence, he submitted his resignation to Haribhau Bagade, the Speaker of the Assembly in Aurangabad. His resignation has been accepted.
He was given a special plane to travel to Aurangabad to submit his resignation.  There is a lot of talk about the special plane given to him.  It was done so that there aren’t any obstacles for him to join the saffron party.  If he has not resigned as MLA, he would not have been allowed to join the Sena.  He is travelling back to Mumbai now.  After returning to Mumbai, Jadhav is likely to join the Shiv Sena at around 2 pm.
