Pune: Unemployment problem will be solved by promoting industrial development: Murlidhar Mohol
Pune: Maha Yuti-BJP Lok Sabha candidate Murlidhar Mohol has promised that he will try to solve the unemployment problem by promoting micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) and start-ups.
Mohol was speaking at a poll rally organised in Mahatma Phule Mandai, Gadikhana, Khadakmal Ali, Kasture Chowk, Krushnahatti Chowk, Lohiya Nagar, Mithganj Police Chowky areas. MLA Madhuri Misal, Hemant Rasne, Deepak Misal, Swarada Bapat, Ajay Khedekar, Vishnu Harihar, Arti Kondhre, Samrat Thorat, Yogesh Samel, Rajesh Yenpure, Sanjay Deshmukh, Rajendra Kondhre, Rajendra Kakade, Amit Kank, Chandrakant Pote, Gaurav Sainkar, Prashant Surve, Nilesh Kadam, Ganesh Bhokare, Ajay Darade, Kapil Jagtap, Pramod Kondhre, Pranav Ganjiwale, Umesh Chavan, Abhijit Rajput, Dilip Kalokhe, Uday Lele, Ashwini Pawar, Nirmal Harihar, Sanket Thopte, Vaishali Naik, Nilesh Jagtap, Namdev Malvade, and Ishtaik Shaikh took part in the rally.
Mohol said, “I will work for the country by increasing the capacity of MSMEs and start-ups. I will continuously try to strengthen the essential aspects for industrial growth such as an independent airport, infrastructural facilities, affordable industrial power tariff, abundant water, skilled manpower, strategic land, smooth traffic, etc. I will frequently hold a dialogue with experts from the field.”
He added, “I will work out a policy to boost the IT hub. An IT hub generates employment from sectors such as real estate to small enterprises such as food industry, laundry, etc. This promotes financial growth. Pune’s share in the State’s per head GDP is 18 per cent. I will pursue construction of an international-level exhibition centre useful for the industry, services and business sectors. A district-level plan will be drafted for export promotion.”
Research will be encouraged for ‘Viksit Pune’
There are over 24 research institutions such as NCL, NIV, NCRA, IUCCA, IISER, C-DAC, C-Met, IITM, and CWPR in Pune. They can play a vital role in the development of the city. I will promote research through such institution for a ‘Viksit Pune’.”
