Ironic! Cyber police trainee frauded for 12 lakhs in Nashik 

NP NEWS 24 ONLINE – We live in an era of modern science and technology where we get everything on our doorstep as internet gives us the advancement and liberty. Online shopping and digital transaction have totally changed our conception of going out to shop. Like everything has pros and cons, even the cyber world has some glitches.

To prevent cybercrime, police authority has created a separate department to look into digital crimes.

Contradictory to that, in Nashik’s police training academy, new trainees were duped with 12 lakhs by a middleman to claimed to be Police Sub Inspector summited fake bank documents of February 2016 to August 2016.

After realising the issue, an FIR has been filed in Gangapur police station where the police doubt that the culprits must be from a bank organization from the police department.

It’s sad to see the people we hope to save us from cybercrime face such situation.
