NP NEWS 24 : New Delhi : After winning the ODI series against Australia, Team India is now eyeing to win series against New Zealand. The long tour of the Indian cricket team led by Virat Kohli will begin with the first T20 match in Auckland. The match is to be played on 24 January. Team India reached New Zealand on 21 January.
Many players of the Indian team reached Auckland and shared pictures. Captain Virat Kohli has shared two pictures on social media since arriving in Auckland. Indian captain Virat Kohli, sharing a photo on Instagram with Shreyas Iyer and Shardul Thakur, wrote that ‘Touchdown Auckland’.
After this picture, Virat shared another photo while having lunch with fellow players. In this photo, he is seen alongside Ravindra Jadeja, KL Rahul and Manish Pandey. In the caption, he wrote, ‘Top team gym session and a good meal out in beautiful Auckland.’
India will play a series of 5 T20, 3 ODIs and 2 Test matches on the tour of New Zealand. First will be T20 series. After that there will be matches in ODIs and Test series. The T20 series will begin on January 24. The first is to take place at Eden Park in Auckland.
