In a shocking incident, married woman forced by in-laws for abortion in Parbhani

Parbhani : NpNews24 Online  – Parbhani Crime News | In a shocking incident that happened in Parbhani, a married woman was given Ayurvedic medicine by her in-laws to terminate her pregnancy. Her in-laws were demanding dowry of Rs 3 lakhs. They were also torturing her. As the victim woman became pregnant, her in-laws forced her to abort. A case has been filed at Gangakhed Police Station against the in-laws on the basis of a complaint given by the educated woman. (Parbhani Crime News)

 

What is the whole matter?

Advocate Madhuri Tilkikar got married on 27 June 2021 to Swapnil Madhukar Tilkikar, a resident of Shahu Nagar in Hudco, Nanded. First few days after the marriage were happy for Madhuri. But later, her in-laws started showing their true colors. Mother-in-law and husband started beating her. They used to stop Madhuri from going to the kitchen saying that she could not do work, she couldn’t wash clothes, cook. They forced Madhuri to bring Rs 3 lakhs from her mother’s house to build a home and started torturing her.

 

Her husband also started beating her and threatened to kill her. While all this was going on, Madhuri got pregnant. The in-laws crossed their limits by giving her Ayurvedic medicine for abortion. Madhuri Tilkikar, tired of all this harassment, lodged a complaint against her father-in-law and other family members at Gangakhed police station. According to the complaint, the police registered a case against Swapnil Tilkikar, Madhukar Tilkikar, Amrapali Tilkikar, Sonali Mule, Prashant alias Gaju Gawli. The Gangakhed police are further investigating the matter.
