Former TATA Employee Launches iC Browser, An Indian Alternative To UC, Record 4 Lakh Downloads

New Delhi : India’s first homegrown browser has been launched from PM Modi’s parliamentary constituency in Banaras by a former employee of TATA Company under Self-Reliant India Mission.

You will be surprised to know that more than 4 lakh people have downloaded the iC Browser app within a few hours of its release.  iC Browser app has emerged as a great replacement of Chinese UC Browser among Indians.

The iC Browser app has been created by engineer Arpit Seth, who was employee of multinational company TCS for many years. Arpit says, “To prevent incidents of data theft from Chinese apps from India, the iC browser app has been created. There is no possibility of data leak due to its server being in India only. It is a matter of great pride for us that more than 4 lakh people have downloaded this app within half an hour of its launch. ”

A feature of iC Browser is also that it does not store any type of data, which eliminates the possibility of data and other information being leaked.
