Krishna Janmabhoomi dispute reached to court, lawyer filed petition for full ownership

Mathura: After the Ram Janmabhoomi of Ayodhya, now the case of Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi of Mathura has also reached the court to ask for the full ownership of it. Civil lawsuit has been filed in the Mathura court by the name of Shri Krishna Virajaman seeking ownership of 13.37 acres of land, along with an appeal to remove the Royal Idgah mosque.

Supreme Court lawyer Vishnu Shankar Jain has filed a petition in the court of Civil Judge Senior Division of Mathura regarding Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi ownership. He has sought ownership of 13.37 acres of Sri Krishna Janmabhoomi through petition.

History of Shri Krishna janmabhoomi

• The place which is worshipped as Krishna birthplace today, it used to be the prison of King Kansa in Katra Keshava Dev of Mallapura region five thousand years ago. Lord Krishna was born in the same prison at midnight in Rohini Nakshatra.
• Historian Dr. Vasudev Sharan Agarwal has considered Katra Keshavdev as the birthplace of Krishna. On the basis of various studies and evidences, the second Krishnadatta Vajpayee of the Political Museum of Mathura also admitted that Katra Keshavdev is the true birthplace of Krishna.
• According to historians, this grand temple built by Emperor Chandragupta Vikramaditya was attacked by Mahmud Ghaznavi in 1017 AD and demolished after looting it.
• Shri Krishna Janmasthan Temple has been broken three times and has been built four times. Still there is a dispute between the two parties for the ownership of Krishna Janmabhoomi.

Shri Krishna Janma Bhoomi Nirman Nyas has been formed to liberate Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi in August. 80 saints from 14 states of the country have been linked to this trust. National President of the Trust Acharya Devmurari Bapu had told that the trust has been registered on July 23, Hariyali Teej.
