Restrict the time spent by their children on the mobile phones the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister (CM) Chandrababu Naidu urged to the women at an event. In his opinion, the misuse of mobile phones is leading the nation’s youth towards criminal tendencies.

While addressing the meeting of resource persons of women self-help groups (SHGs) he said,“Use of mobile phones is turning into a bad habit among children and the youths are misusing the smartphones. This is leading to an increase in criminal tendencies, which is a dangerous consequence.” He also said that as the technology has advanced the purchase of smartphones have also hiked. Addiction is caused by excessive access to something and will lead to negative results.

He added “Women have to curb this trend by restricting usage of mobile phones by their children. You have to control their bad habits.”

The CM mentioned that the government is making efforts to cut down the economic inequality by being associated with the programs that give financial efficiency to women. He also mentioned that this year the government has arranged Rs 14, 000 crores to provide loans SHGs for their economic empowerment.

It is true that the there are many disadvantages that come with the use of mobile phones. Nut the coins have 2 sides so generalizing is not an option.
