Vadodara: Several malls, crowded markets including Mangal Bazar and D-Mart sealed

Vadodara: The decision was taken by administration to keep congested areas and malls closed for three days, including Mangalbazar, Nyay Mandir, Munshi’s Khancho and Ghadiyal’s Pol, to avoid a situation like Ahmedabad’s increasing coronavirus spread in the city. As a result, all the markets were closed today. Apart from this, Hathikhana, Kadak Bazaar, Gowra Vegetable Market and Khanderao Market Full Bazaar have been closed voluntarily.

The action was taken against malls for the second day today for violating the rules of Covid19. Today is the second day of proceedings against the mall for violating the rules of Covid19. Municipal officials today sealed the Seven Seas Mall in Fatehgunj area of Vadodara city and D-Mart in Navayard area in the presence of police. The mall is sealed for three days.

Assistant Municipal Commissioner Suresh Tuwer said the Seven Seas Mall at Fatehgunj has been sealed for three days. Today is the second day in a row that malls and shops have been sealed. Vasant Jadhav, an official of Vadodara Municipal Corporation, said that the vegetable market in Panigate area has been sealed after the team of the corporation reached the vegetable market without maintaining social distance. The operation was carried out by a team of the municipality along with the police.
