Deputy Executive Engineer in ACB’s trap while taking bribe of Rs 80,000
Jalna : Policenama online – Jalna ACB Trap | Deepak Kashinath Ture (50), Deputy Executive Engineer of Maharashtra State Power Distribution Company Limited in Bhokardan sub-division of Jalna district, has been caught red-handed by the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) for accepting a bribe of Rs 80,000 for ordering the budget and installation of electric transformers in four villages for farmers.
A 43-year-old electrical contractor had filed a complaint with the ACB. For installing electric transformers in four villages for farmers, Deputy Executive Engineer Deepak Kashinath Ture demanded a total of R. 80,000 by demanding Rs. 20,000 each for getting the budget and starting order. After the complainant lodged a complaint with the ACB, the complaint was verified. Ture took a bribe of Rs. 80,000 in front of the witness.
This action was taken by Deputy Superintendent of police Sudam Pachorkar, Police Constable Dnyandev Zumbad, Police Constables Dnyaneshwar Maske, Krishna Dethe, Ganesh Bujade under the guidance of Superintendent of Police Sandeep Atole, Upper Superintendent of police Vishal Khambe.
