China Claims Its J-20 Fighter Jet More Powerful Than Rafale; Says, ‘Nothing Much New in Rafael’

New Delhi : The Indian Air Force (IAF) has received the first batch of Rafale fighter jets equipped with new technology. After this, China (China) claimed that the Rafale aircraft could not compete with the Chinese J-20 Fighter Jets, but former IAF Chief BS Dhanoa rejected this claim.

An expert in the tabloid Global Times of the Chinese Communist Party had claimed that Rafale is better than only the Sukhoi-30 MKI jet of the Indian Air Force, but it is the lower generation aircraft compared to J-20 of the Chinese PLA fighter jet.

“Nothing much new in Rafael”
The Chinese military expert said, “It is only more than a quarter generation advanced. The rest is nothing new in this aircraft. ” Citing experts, the Chinese website claimed, “Rafale is only a third-plus generation fighter jet, but there is no comparison to a stealth, fourth generation aircraft like the J-20.”

At the same time, former IAF chief Dhanoa described the 4.5 generation Rafale fighter jets as game changers for the Indian Air Force and responded to the Chinese claims with two simple questions.

Why no canards on the J-20?
Dhanoa said, “If the J-20 is a fifth-generation fighter jet, also known as the Mighty Dragon, then why are the canards on it? Whereas the fifth generation fighter planes of the US F22, F35 and the fifth generation Su-57 of Russia do not have it.” The canards are mounted on the main wing to improve the control and lift of the aircraft.

“J-20 has special features of 5th generation fighter aircraft”
He said, “I don’t think the J-20 has anything to call it a fifth-generation fighter, because the canard increases the radar signature of the fighter plane, allowing the long range Meteor missiles to be positioned and it is all in Rafael.

Why does J-20 not have Super-cruise Ability?
The former chief of the IAF also asked China if the J-20 is a fifth-generation fighter aircraft, why does it not have supercruise capability?, While the manufacturer of it, Chengdu Aerospace Corporation, calls it a 5th generation fighter jet.

Super-cruise Ability is the ability that any aircraft without an afterburner can fly at the speed of sound (Mach 1). Dhanoa said that the super-cruise capability and its radar signature in Rafael is also comparable to the best fighter jet in the world.
