Blade & Matchstick Inserted in Daughter-in-Law’s Genitals For Dowry, Cuts on Many Body Parts

Motihari : A case has come to light in Motihari district of Bihar which has put humanity to shame, where in-laws have crossed all the boundaries of humanity in the greed of dowry. Only 13 days after the marriage, the body of the daughter-in-law was cut from place to place with a blade and when they were not satisfied with it, they put a piece of blade and a matchstick in her genitals. The married woman, who was suffering the unbearable pain, informed her parents about the incident.

As soon as the information was received, the relatives of the victim rushed to her house and took her to Chakia Primary Health Center. After initial treatment there, the victim was referred to SKMCH. The victim has been admitted to the gynecology department of SKMCH since Wednesday evening. Doctors have removed the blade and matchstick from the victim’s genitals.

But due to infection, the condition of the married woman has not improved yet. Based on the victim’s complaint, the police of Chakia police station arrested her husband and father-in-law. The victim’s brother said that on June 23, his sister got married in Hathluamath village of Baruraj police station area. After the wedding, the boy had started demanding Rs one lakh and a bike.

The condition of the daughter-in-law is still critical
When he refused to pay the money, the boy and his relatives attacked the victim. After removing 3 pieces of blades in Chakia PHC, the doctor said that now this case will not be handled here, take her to SKMCH. The victim is undergoing treatment at SKMCH.
