Belgavi native arrested by Calangute Police for committing breach of trust

NP NEWS 24 ONLINE – Calangute police have arrested one Mr. Moinuddin S/o Adbul Bashir Usman, age – 37 yrs, N/o Jalagar Galli, Belgavi, Karnataka today on 11/11/2018 from Calangute.

As per PI Jivba Dalvi an FIR under section 406 IPC was registered based upon the complaint of Mr. Alfredo Gonsalves, R/o Ucassaim, Bardez- Goa that in June 2018 the accused person had borrowed two scooters belonging to the complainant and his wife bearing nos GA 03 AA 4563 and GA 03 E 4493 over the pretext of returning the same after a month. However even after 04 months the accused person failed to return the scooters and also stopped contact with the complainant thereby breached the trust of the complainant.

Further police immediately began efforts to trace the accused person and finally he was arrested today from Calangute. Police have successfully recovered both the scooters from the instance of the accused person.

Further investigation is in progress with Head Constable Arun Mandrekar under the supervision of PI Jivba Dalvi.
