A day after the lukewarm response on Jail Bharo Andolan organised by Maratha Kranti Morcha is learnt example in hard ways, on Thursday mass agitation began in wee hours where the people were forced to shut down the shops and other educational institute in city.

 Maratha Kranti Morcha rooting for Maratha reservation and demanding reservation in education and government job has now entered another phase of their protest. And on Wednesday the one of the demand about community about the alleged misuse of atrocity act has once again brought a new twist by Central Government which has rule out the apex court ruling.

The Maratha protestors have decided to change the strategy of protesting. The agitators will now protest in front of the houses of MPs and MLAs. First they will begin the protest in front of the residence of parliamentary Affairs Minister and Pune Guardian Minister, Girish Bapat.

As police were aware about the agitators protest, so huge security is been provided near Bapat’s office, house which is near Kasba Ganpati as well as other elected representatives. After this movement, Bapat himself accepted the protesters’ agitation. During which Bapat even spoke with agitators and also appealed the protesters not to break laws or not to commit to suicide.

He said that the government is positive about reservation of Maratha community. If the decision of this issue is taken quickly then this reservation will not stay in court. He also asked the party workers to not take violent step.

After this, the agitators will protest in front of the residence of Rajya Sabha MP Vandana Chavan and Minister of State Dilip Kamble.

Bandh in Ghorpadi:

 Maratha agitators after targeting Chakan now they have moved to Ghorpadi. The protestors have requested Ghorpadi shopkeepers to keep their shops shut. Still the protestors haven’t caused loss of property. As per the information given by Senior Police officer of Mundhwa , Sakal Maratha Samaj have started protesting in Ghorpadi.

Further Senior Police officer of Mundhwa, added that they have issued ‘Prior Notice’ to the organisers of the morcha to maintain peaceful environment and not to take law in their hand. Avoid visiting Koregoan Park

He even insisted the protestors to follow the traffic rules under section 128/177 MVA which states to wear helmets, triple seat riding.
