Update your mobile number and address on ration card with the following steps

New Delhi : One Nation One Ration Card was launched by the the Central Government to provide versatility for ration cards such that beneficiaries can use their monthly allowance of subsidized agricultural commodities under the National Food Security Act (NFSA).

Under the One Nation One Ration Card system, the beneficiaries can use the ration card in any part of the country at ration shops. In case of applicant moves into new residence, many people are suffering how they change address on the ration card. Now you can do it with online facility.

To change/update the address on ration card online : 

– Visit www.pdsportal.nic.in. (the Official Portal of PDS Portal of India)

– Go to the State Government Portals tab, and you will get a list of states

– Select your respective state, and you will be redirected to the next page related to your state.

– You must select a correct link to change the form of the ration card address or change the form of the ration card. It differs from state to state.

– Sign in to your account using the required credentials i.e. User ID/ Password

– Fill in your correct details and click on ‘Submit’

– Make a print out of the filled application form for potential reference

How to add mobile number to Ration Card:

– First, visit this (Welcome To Food Security Site (delhi.gov.in)) website.

– Then you will see the Update Your Registered Mobile Number option. There you will have to enter the Aadhar Number of your household’s head.

– After that, the ration card number has to be entered.

– Then you have to enter your family head’s name and finally update the mobile number.

– Then click on the ‘Save’ button at the end.
