UNESC Session 2020 LIVE : India is Moving Ahead in Every Field, Soon It Will Be Self-Reliant!

New Delhi : Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the United Nations (UN).  PM Modi’s address is being held at an event held in New York on the eve of the 75th anniversary of the United Nations. This is PM Modi’s first address after becoming a temporary member of the UN (Security Council). During this time the PM said that India is moving forward in every field. He also spoke about India’s self-reliant program.

– PM Modi said that in the midst of an epidemic like Corona, we launched a self-reliant India campaign.
– Our government made the fight against Corona a mass movement.
– In the fight against Corona, we have delivered medical and other supplies to more than 150 countries.
– PM Modi said, Ayushman Bharat scheme run by our government is helping people in the fight against Corona.
– PM Modi said, we are working to fulfill the agenda 2030. We are helping developing countries. Our aim is Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas and sab ka vishwas.
– The Prime Minister while referring to Mahatma Gandhi had said that Mahatma Gandhi’s message of truth and non-violence is relevant to the world even today. The Prime Minister also asked the international community to unite time to time against terrorism. It is known that India has been elected as a non-permanent member of the Security Council for two years. The United Nations Security Council includes the United States, United Kingdom, France, Russia and China as five permanent members.
– PM said that the world has to think about giving a better future. Our motive is not to leave anyone behind. The world is changed a lot since the second world war. India accounts for one-sixth of the world’s population. Now every household in India has toilets.
– During this, PM Modi said that apart from the immediate challenges, long-term challenges like climate change are also a priority for us. In our efforts to increase the use of new energy in India, we invite investment and technology from Europe.
