Two persons killed in a collision between truck and two wheeler on Solapur-Pune road

Daund : Two persons from Indapur died on the spot in a head-on collision between a truck and a two-wheeler coming from the opposite direction at Kurkumbh Ghat on Solapur-Pune road in Patas in Daund taluka, the police said. The deceased identified as Jagannath Raut (34), resident of Lakhewadi and Navnath Dagadu Jadhav (34), resident of Niranimgaon were killed in an accident near Hotel Kadambari in Kurkumbh Ghat on Solapur-Pune road in Patas. Amit Arun Pawar has lodged a complaint in this regard.

According to the complaint, at around 1.30 pm on Friday (March 19), an unidentified driver of a tipper truck (MH 42 AQ 1852) hit a Bajaj motorcycle (MH13U9714) near Hotel Kadambari on Kurkumbh Ghat on Solapur-Pune road in Patas village in Daund taluka.

A complaint was lodged against the unidentified driver of the tipper truck, informed Bhausaheb Patil, Police Inspector, Yavat Police Station. Sub-Inspector of Police Ramchandra Ghadge is investigating the case.
