Two More Patients Died of Coronavirus in Pune, Death Toll in District Now 20

Pune : With the death of two more people due to coronavirus infection in Pune district of Maharashtra, the total number of people who died from this dreaded disease in the district increased to 20. District council chief executive Ayush Prasad said that a 60-year-old man died late Wednesday night in Baramati. He said that the person was suffering from diabetes and paralysis and four members of his family were also found infected with the corona virus.

Mayor Muralidhar Mohol said that another person died in Pune late on Wednesday night. On Wednesday, 10 people died due to coronavirus infection in Pune district.

Meanwhile, cases of coronavirus in Maharashtra are increasing rapidly rather than decreasing. According to the Maharashtra Health Department, the number of coronavirus cases in the state has risen to around 1300. There were 162 new cases in Maharashtra on a single day on Thursday, after which the total number of coronavirus cases in the state has risen to 1297. Maharashtra has the highest number of cases of coronavirus across the country.

Maharashtra has reported the highest number of coronavirus cases and 143 new cases have been found positive in Mumbai on Thursday. Of the 162 positive cases in Maharashtra on Thursday, Mumbai alone has 143 cases. Apart from Mumbai, cases have been found in Pune, Pimpri Chinchwad, Ahmednagar, Navi Mumbai and Thane on Thursday.
