Pune: Kalyani Nagar Accident: Dr. Ajay Taware Threatens to Expose Involvement in Blood Sample Tampering

Pune: An in-depth investigation is underway against Dr. Ajay Taware and Dr. Shrihari Halnor, who were arrested for allegedly tampering with blood samples to protect the minor involved in the Kalyani Nagar accident. During the operation, Dr. Ajay Taware reportedly told the police, “I will not sit quietly. I will expose everyone.”

Attention is now focused on whom Dr. Taware might implicate. Based on his information, the police have arrested Atul Ghatakamble, identified as the person who provided money to Dr. Taware. Additionally, Dr. Taware has named a public representative, prompting further investigation.

Efforts to protect the minor accused in the Kalyani Nagar accident have become increasingly evident. Initially, attempts were made to manage the police and eyewitnesses at the police station. Subsequently, it was discovered that blood samples were exchanged by bribing doctors at Sassoon Hospital.

Vishal Agarwal, the father of the minor accused, allegedly contacted Dr. Ajay Taware for assistance. Police investigations revealed that a public representative encouraged Dr. Taware to help the minor accused. While the police have identified this public representative, they are hesitant to disclose the name.

The minor accused was medically examined at Sassoon Hospital. Dr. Ajay Taware, head of the Forensic Department, and Chief Medical Officer Dr. Shrihari Halnor, allegedly disposed of the minor’s blood samples and submitted samples from another individual for testing. Both doctors have been charged under IPC sections 120 B, 467, 201, 212, and 213, which include conspiracy, forgery, and destruction of evidence. They are currently under arrest.
