Transgenders strip on Delhi Signature Bridge

NP NEWS 24 ONLINE- Newly constructed Signature Bridge in India’s capital Delhi has been hitting the headlines since past few days is yet again a topic of discussion!

Signature Bridge which has remained in the controversies related to its construction or be it related to the people clicking selfies risking their lives at the bridge. And now, in another strange incident, some transgenders were found stripping on the bridge in a video which is going viral.

The video shows them taking their clothes off on the signature bridge and dancing, while people present there were seen watching them. That was not it, as after they removed their clothes, they started doing dirty and vulgar things with each other and abusing everyone present there.

Usually cops are deployed on the bridge but during the incident no one was present to keep an eye on the them. The cops which are supposed to be present at the spot of the incident found missing from which raises a question on the efficiency of Delhi police as well.

And, when the pictures of the transgenders went viral, then and only then police came to know about it.

The viral video on social media is fetching all the attention of the people of India which shows the same and the police has registered a case of obscenity in this regard.

According to a senior police official, the transgenders took off their clothes and were seen having fun and dancing on the bridge.

The Signature Bridge was inaugurated 11 days ago by Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and just a day after the inauguration of the bridge on 5 November it was opened for the people to visit.

Notably, India is observing Transgender awareness week and such incident has raised a question on the community.
