Police constable who took bribe of 2.5 lakh arrested by the Anti-Corruption Bureau

Nakhik : NP NEWS 24 ONLINE – Police constable from Nashik has been arrested by the Pune Anti-Corruption Bureau in Pimpri Chinchwad while taking the bribe of 2.5 lakh rupees bribe. He was caught red handed with the bribe cash. This has shocked the police department in the state.

The police constable which was arrested by the ACB came from to Pune Nashik just to get the bribe. The name of the constable is Sanjay Aahere. The action was taken by Pune’s Anti-corruption Bureau.

Superintendent of Police Sandip Deewan led the team of ACB in this action.

This is a shocking incident as the police constable from Nashik’s rural area has come to Pune just to take the bribe. The distance between Pune and Nashik is 214 kilometres.

ACB is suspecting that there are more police officers involved in this case.
