There Is A Need Of Scientific Approach In Farming : Sharad Pawar  

Np news 24 Online- It is necessary to note the problem of water shortage while using modern techniques in scientific farming. And therefore water should be utilized minimum, said by Sharad Pawar a former union minister and president of Rayat Shikshan Sanstha.

 

He was speaking at the inauguration of the Karmaveer Bhaurao Patil Agricultural Development Research Centre, established by Rayat Shikshan Sanstha at Rukadi (Tq.  Hatkangale). Chairman of Rayat Shikshan Sanstha Anil Patil was the president of this programme.

 

MP Pawar said that with the help of Jain Irrigation, using advance technology, spending more than one and a half crore on 101 of acres of land, sugarcane in 40 acres area, banana in 10 acres area, mangoes and Peru in 22 acres area, and seasonal crops in 20 acres has been transplanted. Hence, the technology of producing new horticulture and new crop varieties will be developed here.

 

Jain Irrigation’s Anil Jain said that due to Sharad Pawar’s changes occurred in agriculture of Maharashtra is because of Sharad Pawar and due to his guidance it becomes possible to do irrigation in 100 acres of land.

 

Anil Patil said that the agriculture is the spirit of Rayat Shikshan Sanstha , and Karmaveer Anna gave the status to agriculture. Anna used to work himself and was expert in farming. He said that whole farming will be brought down under Solar power generation at Rukadi.

 

MLA Hasan Mushrif expressed his views on this occasion. On this occasion Sharad Pawar honoured by Anil Patil. Anil Jain and Uddhav Patil were felicitated by the former Union Minister Sharad Pawar.
