Sunita Dhangar Suspended | Corrupt Education Officer of Nashik civic body Sunita Dhangar suspended

Pune : Sunita Dhangar Suspended | Nashik Municipal Corporation’s Education Department corrupt Education Officer Sunita Dhangar has finally been suspended.

She was caught red-handed by an Anti-Corruption Bureau’s team while accepting a Rs 50,000 bribe from a dismissed principal. Her colleague Nitin Joshi was also arrested while accepting the bribe.

Following her arrest, the ACB had also searched Dhangar’s home, where Rs 85 lakh cash and 32-tola gold was found. The agency also recovered some property documents. Later, her bank accounts were checked and around Rs 1.15 crore unaccounted money was found in them.

The Deputy Secretary issued the order for Dhangar’s suspension. She is currently lodged in the Nashik Road Central Jail.

Dhangar was in police custody till Wednesday. Her bail application will be considered on Friday.
