Pune Lok Sabha Bypoll Election | MNS leader Vasant More wants to contest Pune Lok Sabha bypoll
Pune : Pune Lok Sabha Bypoll Election | The bypoll for the Pune Lok Sabha seat, which has been vacated after the demise of BJP MP Girish Bapat, will be held soon. There are many aspirants for this bypoll in the BJP, the NCP and the Congress. Now, the MNS is also willing to join the fray. MNS leader Vasant More has expressed his desire to contest the bye election.
MNS workers are demanding that their party should field their firebrand leader More in the bypoll. More has agreed to contest if the party gives him the ticket. More has revealed this while speaking in a press meet.
More said, “I am ready if my party gives me an opportunity. Middle class candidates had contested the civic elections 2017. They got 3.79 lakh votes. No big leader will dare to contest this bypoll. If MNS workers decide, they can make a miracle to happen.”
When asked if he wanted to contest the bypoll, More quipped, “Why should not I have the desire to fight in this bye election? I have done good work. One should dream big in politics. I will speak to MNS chief Raj Thackeray once the bypoll is announced.”
