Sub-registrar offices to register property documents to remain open on Saturdays and Sundays
PUNE : NpNews24 Online – Maharashtra Registrars Office Open On Holiday | The state government has given relief to those who want to register their purchase and sale of flats. Now, sub-registrar offices in zilla head office and municipal corporation limits will be open on Saturdays and Sundays. Revenue Minister Radhakrishna Vikhe Patil said that the citizens will not face problems in registering their documents and in the future, registration of documents will happen non-stop. In recent times, the purchase and sale transactions of properties is increasing. The common man finds it difficult to register the documents on working days and since the crowds are increasing at sub-registrar offices, a decision has been taken to keep the offices open on holidays.
The sub-registrar offices at zilla head office and municipal limits of following cities will remain open on Saturdays and Sundays.
Pune Division (Satara, Sangli, Solapur, Kolhapur), Mumbai Division (Mumbai City and Suburban areas), Konkan Division (Thane City Thane Rural, Palghar, Raigad, Alibaug), Nagpur Division (Nagpur), Amravati Division (Akola and Amravati), Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar Division (Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar), Latur Division (Latur, Nanded), Nashik Division (Nashik and Jalgaon).
